Fort Tryon Park and the George Washington Bridge

I went shooting in Fort Tryon Park on the west side of Manhattan last week.  I’d never been to Fort Tryon Park before and I was really looking forward to it.  My real goal was to shoot the arches from the old Billings Estate on the grounds of the park.  But once I got to the park, I was struck by how beautiful it was.  I didn’t have a lot of time to shoot there, but I will definitely go back.

I also spent some time walking around the Upper West Side, shooting pictures of the George Washington Bridge.  I’ve often gone across the George Washington Bridge (or the GWB as we call it here), but I’d never stopped to take pictures of it before.  My favorite shot of the day is this one that I took of the bridge.
